Many printing techniques are used and each technique creates a different feel and look to your wedding card.

Lithography or digital printing is used to create full color wedding card. This technique is comparatively cheap compared to other techniques such as letterpress. This printing method is great for photo invites or for modern invites that use bold colors and patterns.

However, if you truly want luxury wedding stationery then this is the method to go for. Letterpress is more expensive due to the set-up and printing time needed to complete the stationery. If you are wanting a bespoke design then new dies will need to created. Letterpress invites are normally printed on very thick board, around 350gsm upwards.

Foil printing provides an element of luxury to your wedding cards but is more affordable. Foil comes in many colors not just silver and gold. However, these are the colors most commonly used on foil printed wedding cards.
